The Goddard Place

The Goddard Place, hidden among the wooded hills of scenic Southern Illinois and the Shawnee National Forest, is a quiet peaceful change of pace. Guests can relax on the back deck overlooking the small lake just a stone’s throw away and listen to the breeze rustle through the pines which shade the 28’ x 16’ log cabin. Inside the log structure is a Queen size bed with the most comfortable mattress you’ve ever spent a night on and a hide-a-bed, which makes a cozy setting for a couple or a family of four. A hot tub graces the interior where guests can relax while watching the flames in the fireplace or their favorite program on TV.
