Cabin Details

The Goddard Place, found among the wooded hills of scenic Southern Illinois and the Shawnee National Forest is a quiet peaceful change of pace....Guests can relax on the back deck overlooking the small lake just a stone's throw away and listen to the breeze rustle through the pines which shade the 28'x16' log cabin.

The cabin is an open layout in one room, with execption of the bath.  There is a cozy queen sleigh bed. The living area features a queen sleeper sofa, a rocker recliner and DirecTV and DVD player, all making for a cozy setting for a couple or a small family. There is a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker along with all dishware and utensils.  You can bring along some charcoal and fire up the Weber bbq and enjoy a meal on the deck or on the picnic table under the pines.... We provide everything you need just, just bring your provisions!

There is a separate stand up shower and facilities along with a romantic jacuzzi tub.  After a long day of sight-seeing you can cool down with frosty central air and ceiling fan, and on those cold evenings you can cuddle up by the gas fire and forget your cares...
